There are different types of people in this world. Some go to salons for haircut while some want to have a haircut at home to save money and time. To cut your layers is not a big deal. Hairstyle gives a better look to your overall personality. The hairstyle depends upon the hair texture. This article will help you to explain the process of how to cut your hair in layers at home. Layering of hair makes a very good hairstyle and it looks stylish and trendy too.
Cutting Layers at home
Step 1: Wash your hair: Wash your hair with a shampoo and apply conditioner for 5 minutes. Make it dry with the help of a towel. Keep a water sprayer at a nearby place so that you can moist your hair while cutting. If your hair dries very quickly then you can use a gel to prevent fast drying.
Step 2: Decide how much hair length you want: Take a decision on the length of the hair before cutting them as after starting cutting it will become difficult to gauge the length of the remaining hair. You can go for collarbone or chin length as it looks good in layered hair.
Step 3: Make sections: Comb your wet hair and then make sections of one and half inch and start cutting the bangs. Continue making sections for each part of the hair .Tie the remaining hair so that they will not come in the way of other sections. Now you will be able to see a straight line at the top of the head that will go to the sides of the hair.
Step 4: Comb the recently cutted section: Stand in front of a mirror and comb the recently cutted section. While combing them you will get to know the unevenness if any found in hair. Hold the hair between the middle and index finger like a scissor and cut off the uneven tips. The purpose of doing this is to get a straight line while holding your hair up. You can cut more sections if you want to have a short haircut.
Step 5: Comb the sides of different sections: Pull some of the other sections of hair with recently cut hair as the bags cut will help you to cut hair of other sections. Make all the next cut straight across. When you will allow the hair to fall you will notice it is falling in layers.
Step 6: Continue making sections: Pull the hair straight up and cut them across the guidelines from the previous cutting procedure. Do not make too many sections for every cut as it will misguide the guidelines. So continue sectioning and cut all the way back to the head and pull each section straight up till you have cut all your hair.
